Our Fair Trade Ocean Play Set is a fun handmade fabric gift for young children, designed to encourage their imagination as well as their motor skills. The blue-checked pouch unzips to reveal ice-covered islands where the whales, walruses, polar bears, seals and penguins can interact and play all day under the guidance of their human playmates.
Like all our toys, the Ocean Play Set is handmade by women artisans in Sri Lanka using handwoven cotton fabric and hypoallergenic polyester stuffing. It is light and practical to carry and can easily be taken out on a play date or holiday. When open flat, the pouch measures 30 cm in diameter (plus carrying handles) and the animals range from 6 cm high to 12 cm long. It is also machine washable - just put all the little animals inside and zip it up before adding to a 30 degree wash!
